Thomas Anders

Thomas Anders is a German pop artist, lead singer of the band Modern Talking, and composer. The artist gained great popularity in Europe and the CIS countries thanks not only to his performing talent, mesmerizing voice, but also to his bright and memorable appearance.

In 1983 he met musician Dieter Bolen. It took a year for the singers to unite in a joint project called “Modern Talking”.

The first single of the new disco band You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul, which was included in the debut album The First Album, became the discovery of the year. The song held the leading position in the European popular music rankings for six months, and the CD sold 40,000 copies daily.

The musicians became winners and laureates of international music awards, and every appearance of the band’s frontman Thomas Anders at a concert caused a storm of excitement among female fans. The lead singer of Modern Talking, having an attractive appearance and slim figure (Thomas’ height – 172 cm, weight – 84 kg), became a real sex symbol of the time.

In 2020, the singer continued to work on replenishing his discography. Anders’ collaboration with Florian also lasted. In May, the duo presented their third hit to the public, and in the summer their joint album Das Album, which included 17 songs, was released. For the first time in his solo career, Thomas saw his own “creation” on the 1st place in the German charts.
