Radiohead

Radiohead is a British rock band from Oxfordshire. The band was formed in 1985, and its lineup has not changed since then. Radiohead’s style is traditionally defined as alternative rock, although at different stages the sound has varied from Brit-pop to art rock and electronic music.

British band Radiohead has been delighting fans with their unique sound and original genre of music for several decades. Traditionally, their style is defined as alternative rock, but at different stages it ranged from Brit-pop to psychedelic electronic music. Surprisingly, the core of the band has never changed during its existence.

The release of OK Computer’s 3rd album OK Computer, whose tracks were melodic rock with a smattering of electronic music complemented by Yorke’s emotional vocals, was recognized as the best in the alternative music genre at the 40th Grammy Awards. When OK Computer was released, the guys went on a world tour.

Now the creative life of musicians is boiling, and new projects appear with constant regularity. For example, in May 2021, frontman Thom Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood took part in The Smile project, which debuted on the platform of the online version of the Glastonbury festival.
