Massive Attack

Massive Attack are a Bristol-based band formed in 1988, pioneers of the trip-hop music style. From their formation until 2011, they have released five studio albums, a soundtrack, one remix album and a hits compilation.

British band Massive Attack is a group whose songs have graced dozens of cult films and TV series: The Matrix, Blade, Batman Forever, Big Bang, Dr. House, Bewitched, Scum and others. The total circulation of albums sold has passed 20 million copies, and the history of the group – for 30 years, but the duo continues to create hits, win music awards and new listeners.

At first, underground musicians preferred to think of themselves as a “sound system”, which, unlike the band, united constantly changing and complementing each other musicians, DJs, producers, sound engineers and even people not directly related to music. But in 1990 the “fathers” of Massive Attack got a contract from Circa Records, which obliged them to release 6 studio albums and a collection of the best hits.

The band continues to give concerts all over the world and delight the army of their fans.
