Will.i.am

William James Adams, better known under the pseudonym Will.i.am, is an American rapper, multi-instrumentalist, actor and music producer, one of the creators and lead singer of the hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas, owner of the recording studio and production company will.i.am music group, philanthropist, creative director of Intel.

In 8th grade Will meets Apl.De Ap (real name Allen Pineda), a future member of the Black Eyed Peas. Together with him, Will decides to drop out of school (eighth grade) and devote his life to dancing and songwriting. At the time, their dance group was called “Tribal nation”.

Later, the guys “moved away” from breakdancing and went deeper into songwriting. Soon they renamed themselves as “Atban Klann” (short for “A Tribe Beyond a Nation”). The band survived many dangers, and even after the death of the head (Easy-E) of the label Ruthless Records, who signed them to a cooperation contract, they did not lose heart, and took MC Taboo (Jamie Gomez) to themselves, and further performed under the name “Black Eyed Peas”.

Will takes the nickname will.i.am (from William) and chooses the job of producer of the band. He also takes the position of lead singer, drummer and bassist of the band. In 2003, Will writes the world-famous song “Where is the love”.
