Paramore

Rock Group
Biography

The band Paramore became widely famous in the mid-2000s thanks to the movie “Twilight”: the song “Decode”, one of the key songs in the rockers’ work, was played there. In the history of the band, there have been departures and returns of musicians, Grammy Awards and depressions, power struggles and world success. However, despite the turmoil, now Paramore try to keep the brand and delight fans with hits.

In 2002, 13-year-old Hayley Williams, the future vocalist of Paramore, moved with her mother to Franklin, Tennessee. At weekly classes for homeschooled students, the girl met the Farro brothers, Josh and Zach.

In 2003, Hayley Williams signed with Atlantic Records as a solo artist. The label’s plan was to turn the girl into “the next Madonna,” but she resisted: she dreamed of playing alternative rock with her own band. Atlantic Records went along with the young diva’s wishes, and so begins the story of Paramore.

Thanks to performances with more famous pop-punk bands Paramore managed to make a name for themselves. They were named the best new band, and Hayley Williams got the 2nd place in the rating of the sexiest women according to the readers of the British magazine “Kerrang!”.
