COLDPLAY

The British musical group Coldplay has gained international popularity due to its unique style of performance and the use of a mix of musical techniques of different genres. The ability of British musicians to attract attention to their work has been known since the 60s. But even in the 21st century, we can talk about such a phenomenon as “coldplay mania“, which is not at all inferior to Beatlemania. For several decades, the band has been gathering full houses of fans and releasing hit after hit.

The band released the mini–album Safety on their own on May 18, 1998, but most of the copies went to different labels, something was distributed to friends of the band. Only 50 copies were intended for sale. At the end of the same year, Coldplay was invited to record on the Fierce Panda label, where a mini–album called Brothers & Sisters was ready in four days. The album was released in the spring of 1999, and the compositions from it quickly gained popularity.
