50 Cent

50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III) is an American rapper, actor, writer, boxing promoter and producer known by his stage name 50 Cent, which translates to “Fifty Cents”. He came to fame with the release of the albums Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and The Massacre.

50 Cent is the most popular rapper, who was easily successful in other professions: screenwriter, talented actor, who participated in a number of notable works of famous directors, entrepreneur. The life path of the performer was incredibly rich, he repeatedly rose to the heavens and fell into the abyss.

The release of Jackson’s debut record was to be held under the label Jam Master Jay Records, but it did not happen. But the young man did not put his hands down and already in 1999 began a collaboration with the oldest producers Trackmasters under the Columbia Records recording brand. “50 Cents” worked in an accelerated mode. He composed over 30 songs in 14 days, half of which were included on the unofficial album Power of the Dollar (2000).

Curtis has been nominated for a Grammy more than 10 times, but won Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for Crack A Bottle, a collaboration with Eminem and Dr. Dre. Now 50 Cent continues to create, staying true to his style.
