Tyler, the Creator

Tyler Gregory Okonma, professionally known as Tyler, the Creator, is an American rapper and producer. He is a founding member of the music collective Odd Future.

Tyler, The Creator is a rap artist and a talented provocateur in part time. He does not look like any celebrity, while fitting very organically into the modern entertainment industry. Starting out in music, the guy eventually expanded the scope of his professional activities and literally created a cult around his own clothing brand called Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (abbreviated OFWGKTA). In this way, Tyler became something of a multimedia musician-businessman.

Okonma independently rapped for a large number of the group’s compositions, as well as produced them and created photos for the covers of all OFWGKTA releases. The guy revealed in an interview with DJ Semtex that he creates designs for all of the members’ costumes and paraphernalia.

On December 25, 2009, Tyler Gregory, without anyone’s help, prepared the first mixtape for release, which he titled Bastard. The editors of the glossy publication Pitchfork Media ranked the aspiring solo musician’s musical work as the 32nd best release of the year.
