Jordan Terrell Carter, better known as Playboi Carti is an American rapper and model from Atlanta. Originally a member of Atlanta underground label Awful Records, he is now signed to A$AP Mob – AWGE Label and Interscope Records. Playboi Carti has managed to captivate fans around the world with hard-hitting and ironic songs. The American rebel rapper exposes in his compositions the actual problems of society. Already at the beginning of his career, the performer found his own recognizable style, which music critics called childish for high frequencies and indistinct “mumbling” pronunciation.

The first songs appeared in the biography of the rapper back in 2011. Then Jordan performed under the pseudonym Sir Cartier. In 2012, the creative name was changed to the one that is known to fans now. When the guy realized that making music became part of his life, he moved to New York. Here he met Jabari Shelton (ASAP Bari), designer and creator of the popular hip-hop crew ASAP Mob.

Later Jordan chose to join the AWGE label owned by ASAP Mob. In parallel, the musician created original collaborations with other rap singers, among whom was a cousin of the guy, performing under the pseudonym UnoTheActivist. Talent and originality of the singer was appreciated by representatives of the underground scene – the American began touring with ASAP Ferg (Darold Brown Ferguson) and Lil Uzi Vert (Simir Woods).
