Lykke Li

Lykke Li is the pseudonym of a famous Swedish singer (contrary to the general misconception about her oriental origin). She has earned the recognition of European listeners thanks to the combination of different styles. The singer’s real name is Lee Lükke Timotei Zachrisson. Her stage name is not a pseudonym at all, but only a shortened variation of her name.

The girl was born in 1986 in the provincial town of Ystad (Sweden). Her love for music was not only laid in her childhood, but was in her blood. The fact that her parents in their youth also showed creative abilities, even tried to engage in music.

Her creativity at different times included elements of punk, electronic music, classic rock and many other genres. To date, the singer has four solo records on her account, some of which have been widely distributed in the world.

Of all the singer’s releases, the third album became the most notable in the United States. The record was produced by such cult figures as Greg Kirstin and Bjorn Juttling (winners of numerous music awards, including the Grammy Award). The album received good reviews from critics and was quite warmly received by the audience. So Sad So Sexy (the title of the fourth LP) was released in June 2018, 10 years after the release of Lücke’s solo CD.
