Joji

George Kusunoki Miller, performing under the stage name Joji, formerly known as Filthy Frank and Pink Guy, is an Australian-Japanese and American singer-songwriter, music producer, author, comedian, former internet celebrity and youtuber. Joji has become known for his unusual musical style. His compositions are a combination of electronic music, rap, R&B and folk elements. Listeners are attracted by melancholic motifs and lack of complex production, thanks to this creates a special atmosphere.

He has become known for his YouTube channel where he posts his own music, recites, and plays the ukulele. In this his eccentric show he played the roles of many characters in his universe. As a composer, he has created music under the aliases Pink Guy (this character featured prominently in his videos) and has now completed his show “Filthy Frank” and has gone fully into creating under the alias Joji.

As the main character in his videos, he performs under the alias Filthy Frank. His video titled “Do the Harlem Shake (Original)” (which originally appeared as a separate story in the video “Filthy Compilation #6 – Smell My Fingers”) has garnered 58.7 million views on YouTube (as of December 2017). This storyline was the prototype for the Harlem Shake meme.
