Eros Ramazzotti

Eros Ramazzotti is an Italian singer and composer who performs songs in Italian, Spanish and English. He gained widespread popularity performing in star duets with such artists as Tina Turner, Cher, Luciano Pavarotti, Joe Cocker and many others. For the entire musical career of Eros Ramazotti, the total circulation of his records exceeded 60 million copies.

In 1982, Eros Ramazotti’s debut single “Ad un amico” was released. This song did not make the singer popular, but the following compositions “Terra promessa” and “Una storia importante” topped the Italian charts. On the wave of success Eros released his debut full-length CD “Cuori agitati”, which reached the 10th place in the Italian ranking and entered the top five songs in the Swiss charts. A new achievement of the artist was the victory at the Sanremo Festival with the musical composition “Terra promessa”, which was included in the first album.

All the following studio albums of Eros Ramazzotti necessarily headed the Italian hit parades and entered the rating of the best in most European countries. It is also curious that the singer published his studio disks, except for the first one, in Italian and Spanish, adapting the songs for the music market of South America and Spain.
