Dr. Dre (Andre Romell Young) is an American rap singer and producer. He gained worldwide recognition in the music world thanks to his collaboration with rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube. Young created a new direction in music – ji-funk.

At some point, fate threw the musician into the club Eve After Dark. Young was inspired by the work of local DJs, rappers’ performances. Here happened an important meeting with like-minded Antoine Carraby. This was the reason for the appearance of the world-famous pseudonym.

Gradually, the rapper’s musical creativity continued to develop. With a colleague Ice Cube, the guy recorded songs that belong to the label Ruthless Records. Young people decided to organize the group N.W.A. Ice Cube and Dr Dre invited Eazy-E, Arabian Prince, MC Ren and DJ Yella to the collective. The guys referred the music they performed to a new genre of gangster rap.

Fame caught up with the guys quickly, as they offered listeners something different from what rappers had done before. In the tracks of the group there were foul words, tragic plots. Incredible success was expected and the disk, which was released under the name Straight Outta Compton. Among teenagers, the song Fuck the Police became popular.
