Dr.Alban

Dr. Alban is a Swedish musician of Nigerian descent who owns his own recording studio, Dr. Records. It’s hard to meet a person who has not heard at least by ear the famous hits of Dr. Alban (Dr. Alban) in the genre of hip-hop, which marked the disco era of the 1990s. Initially, the dark-skinned singer did not think that his biography will be creative: the artist dreamed of becoming a doctor. Alban still fondly remembers the unfulfilled profession, because it is not for nothing that he calls himself Doctor.

Initially, Nwapa’s extraordinary talent was noticed by DJ Rene, and in 1990, the extravagant paarene met Swedish producer Deniiz Pop, who worked under the Swe Mix music label. Dag Krister Volle and the “queen of rap music” Leila K offered the brown-eyed beauty a favorable cooperation, and thanks to joint efforts Alban’s debut album “Hello Africa” was born, which is a mix of incendiary music and ethnic traditions of Africa. It is noteworthy that the first disk of the singer sold out a million copies worldwide.

Today, the famous singer continues to appear on stage in various countries around the world. As the performer himself said, his fans, who continue to love the creativity of the idol, grow old with him.
