Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth is an American pop singer, songwriter and music producer best known for the song “See You Again”, recorded with rapper Wiz Khalifa for the soundtrack to the movie Fast and Furious 7. The song topped the charts in the United States, Australia, Austria, Canada and several other countries. Charlie attracted the attention of fans not only with tracks that hit the top of music charts and break sales records, but also with romances with popular actresses and singers.

In 2009, the young singer started a YouTube channel: on Charlies Vlogs he posted comedy videos and acoustic covers of popular songs. The very next year Charlie Puth released a music video for his first song These Are My Sexy Shades.

At the online video contest Can You Sing? (2011), Puth performed a cover of Adele’s Someone Like You with Emily Luther and won first place. Thanks to this victory, Charlie signed a contract with Ellen DeGeneres’ label Eleven, visited her show, but ended cooperation with the brand at the end of 2012.

In May 2018, the artist released his second studio album called Voicenotes. The compilation was supposed to see the light of day at the beginning of the year, but Puth postponed the release date to perfect it and redesign the cover. The disc was nominated for a Grammy but, unlike his debut Nine Track Mind, could only achieve gold status in Canada, the United States and New Zealand.
