Celentano Tribute Show

Celentano Tribute Show is a compilation of the legendary artist’s best songs and performances. Besides the famous physical resemblance, Maurizio Schweitzer has the same charm and allure. His songs, lyrics and languid pauses easily make the soul tremble. And the luxurious sets and specially selected costumes add to the magic of the show. Just a few minutes after the beginning of the performance the spectator forgets that this is a tribute and goes on a fascinating journey through the vast expanse of Celentano’s work.

Maurizio Schweizer is a great admirer of the great artist Andriano Celentano. He was born into a musical Italian family and started singing early. Already in his teens it was hard not to notice how well he could imitate the legend’s vocals.

Together with the pianist Mattia Cortellazzi he created the concept of the Celentano Tribute Show. The concert is thought out down to the last detail from the costumes to the personalities. All pieces are performed live. Specialists are invited to translate the speech into one or another language. However, he himself learned a few words as part of his touring activities in favorite places.

For nine years the program has been successfully held in Europe and America. For Russia, changes were made taking into account the preferences of local residents. As it turned out, there are compositions almost unknown in his homeland, but fervently loved here.
