Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys are an American musical group that was formed on April 20, 1993, in the city of Orlando. Backstreet Boys are the first of the groups after Sade, whose first 9 albums started in the top ten of the album charts in the United States. It is hard to imagine the world pop scene of the 1990s without the work of this group. Millions of fans, daily concerts and hits that became popular all over the world overnight – this was the life of the boy band members in the years of triumph.

Interesting fact: the team of “Backstreet Boys” is even immortalized in the Guinness Book of Records as the most popular youth project of all time. And although the first places of hit parades have long been occupied by other performers, “Backstreet Boys” is still loved by loyal fans.

It didn’t take long to think over the name – “Backstreet Boys” was the name of the local market, which in the evenings turned into a place for youth hangouts and parties. In Russian, it translates as “Backstreet Boys.”

“Millennium” became perhaps the most successful album of the boy band: the record received five Grammy nominations, and the songs “Lager Than Life”, “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely” and “The One” are still popular today.
