Alex Gaudino

Alex Gaudino is an Italian DJ and producer. His track “Destination Calabria” exploded the world dancefloors in 2007. This composition is a mix of saxophone part from Danish DJ Rune RK’s single “Calabria” and vocal part performed by singer Crystal Waters, who is known to listeners for her track “Destination Unknown”.

Alex Gaudino started his musical career back in 1993, working with Flying Records and UMM. In 1998, with the help of the famous Italian company TIME, Alex Gaudino founded his own label RISE Records and soon achieved unprecedented popularity among dance music lovers, releasing the tracks “The Tamperer” and “Black Legend”.

The track “Destination Calabria”, recorded in collaboration with the legendary Crystal Waters, exploded the world’s dance floors in March 2007. The work, known back in 2003 as “Destination Unknow”, today received a powerful melodic “hook” in the form of a sampled saxophone part from the track “Calabria” and, accordingly, a new title. That settled the matter. With amazing speed “Destination Calabria” occupied the airwaves of dance radio stations all over the world and undoubtedly became the biggest dance hit of 2007.
