Aliane Damala Thiam, better known as Akon- rapper, Senegalese and American singer, songwriter, music producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and actor. He is the first solo artist to reach the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart twice. He has been nominated for various music awards, including Best R&B/Soul Male Artist. During his musical career he collaborated with many famous artists.

The first tracks Eikon created in a home studio, but soon the young and talented singer was noticed by a record company, and after a while under the label Universal released the debut album of the performer Trouble. He wrote all the songs himself, sharing with listeners the emotions experienced in the past. By the way, the song Belly Dancer was already released in 2003 as a single, but then listeners did not pay attention to it. But after the release of the album the song was played on all radio stations. The disk did not conquer the top of the charts, but it stayed in them for a long time, sold well and soon received platinum status.

In 2022, the musician continued his creative activity. In social networks and on the official website of the singer there was news that in honor of the 15th anniversary of the album Konvicted Eikon decided to release Konvicted Deluxe Edition 2LP and reissued the original disc. At the same time, the singer expressed his gratitude to his fans for the fact that thanks to them the album went platinum 6 times.
