THE GAME

Rap artist
Biography

Jason Terrell Taylor, better known by his stage name The Game, is an American rapper from the west coast. He has his own label, Prolific Records. He gained popularity in 2005 after the successful debut of his first album, The Documentary, and two Grammy Award nominations. The nickname Game was given to the musician by his grandmother, motivated by the fact that his grandson was always in the game – from basketball and bicycling to the music of “games” between street gangs.

In 2002, Game was signed to Dr. Dre’s label. However, the musician’s first multi-platinum album “Documentary” saw the light of day only in early 2005. The record immediately became a bomb. Guest appearances by 50 Cent and Nate Dogg, as well as production by Kanye West and Just Blaze did their job and at the moment Game is hardly inferior to Eminem or Lil’ John.

On the disk, the listener will find a huge trail of memories of the history of rap music and just quality sounding autobiographical stories. It is not without reason that the rapper constantly remarks: “I gave everything I could to this album.” Shortly before the release of the debut album masterpiece rapper was accepted into the ranks of the musical coalition of another multi-platinum monster 50 Cent’a, everyone knows by the name G-Unit.
