Puff Daddy

Puff Daddy (also known under the pseudonyms P. Diddy and Diddi) is one of the most influential and wealthy figures of hip-hop, performer and producer, thanks to whom the world has heard some of the songs of Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Snoop Dogg. The artist tried to realize himself as an actor, but the craving for music was stronger, and he could not exist outside of his favorite business for a long time.

In 1997, Sean realized that he had to make his own music. In February, the light saw the debut single rapper Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down, which lasted 28 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Months later, in July, the rapper’s first album Puff Daddy No Way Out was released, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album in 1998.

The track I’ll Be Missing You, dedicated to slain The Notorious B.I.G., spent 11 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and earned P. Diddy his second Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance. He was assisted in recording the track by singer Faith Evans. And the video for the song Victory went down in history as one of the most expensive: the shooting cost $ 2.7 million, while the famous actors Dennis Hopper and Danny De Vito did not take a penny of remuneration for their work.
