Alisha Ogello Cook, professionally known as Alisha Keys, is an American singer, pianist, songwriter, rhythm and blues, soul and neo-soul artist and winner of fifteen Grammy Awards. An exotic beauty with enchanting melodic vocals and talented keyboard playing, Alicia Keys is one of the best-selling musical artists of all time. She is called the “princess of soul”, but in her more than 20-year career, the singer is worthy of the title of “queen”.

The singer’s creative biography began with a trial contract with the So So Def label and taking part in the recording of the soundtrack to the 1997 sci-fi movie “Men in Black”. It was Keys’ debut professional work. On June 5, 2001, Alisha’s first studio record was unveiled, titled Songs in A Minor. The album became a commercial success, 12 million copies were sold worldwide, and the girl herself was named the best artist in the R&B genre and the best new artist.

The singer is actively involved in charity and participates in various social actions – she took part in an advertising campaign aimed at fighting breast cancer, as well as in rallies and protests together with ordinary citizens of America.
